I didn’t like it. The white really didn’t seem to help. It was just weird. The lines were weird. The lack of a grille is weird. Shame too, I love the Falcon doors and the idea of it. The Model S looks soooo good. This, not so much.

I like it because it’s literally an even faster, electric R-Class AMG.

I haven't seen one in person yet (only model ses so far) which are really nice imho, but in photos the model x doesn't seem quite as impressive, even with the falcon doors and everything, then again though, I might love it when I see one in person

It reminds me of Marvin for HGTTG.

I thought I'd love it, but they actually look like a Model S that ate a minivan. Incredibly bloated looking, IMHO. I think it's the high roof in combination with the low door sills, but I can't quite place it. Something in the proportions is wrong.

I came out from picking up some lunch yesterday to find one parked right next to me and have seen several out on the roads in passing, I’m not a fan. I just don’t really see any “styling” there. Looks like they just plopped a whale on to wheels. That F-Pace I saw the other day though… Good Lord! I never thought I would like an SUV

I’ve seen quite a few around town too, so I guess they are selling
The F Pace. OMG the F Pace.
Had to deliver a part to the jag dealer yesterday and they had three sitting up front. It was so nice. Everything in proportion. Great lights. Man I want one

Being two years old inside, had the doors been opened, I would’ve smiled like an idiot. But still, the overall design was just lacking something.

I agree with the colors impacting the looks. Tesla had a black one parked at the stem expo in DC this spring and it looked okay. Not nearly as clean as the lines on the same though.

Haha, I’m the same! If if saw one and the doors were open or being opened I’d probably just lose my mind. But with them shut, it seems like a bloated model s with no ‘grille’

Why is that A8 on Swiss plates?

They are one ugly duckling.

Real shame too. The S is really attractive in my opinion

Huh didn’t even notice that. It was at the DMV

What bothers me isn’t the lack of a grille, but the fact the bumper is shaped like it should have one but it’s been blanked off really strange looking.

Agreed. I was super excited to see one. Until I saw one.

People put European style plates on the fronts of their cars, even though they aren’t registered in Europe.

There's so many of them running around my neighborhood. I see at least one a day. I think they're probably the ugliest way to spend $140k

I know that’s a trend, people usually put german plates on german cars, italian plates on italian cars, etc and most of them have some sort of message.
A Swiss plate from the Canton of Vaud with random numbers/letters seems a bit odd.

It’s almost as if they forgot to cut the hole out for it, especially in white!

I’ve heard lots of people talk about how cool they look, and I can’t figure out what they’re on about. They look like bloated whale carcasses to me. Such a disappointing follow-up to the great looking Model S.

When I saw one for the first time, what struck me was how much it looked like a minivan. Just really big and really bulbous.
